Our Coaches and Mentors

Founder, Eddy Collective | Performance Coach | Educator | Athlete Development Specialist | Former Collegiate Softball Athlete

Aubrey Cousins, MPH

Coach Aubrey Cousins is the founder of Eddy Collective, an athlete development organization dedicated to helping athletes thrive through movement, leadership, and lifelong wellness. With a background spanning coaching, education, public health, and performance training, Aubrey believes that the strongest athletes are built through intentional development—not just better workouts.

Aubrey earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Wellness and a minor in Psychology from California State University, Monterey Bay, before completing a Master of Public Health at California State University, San Marcos. Her graduate research explored the mental health of collegiate athletes following the COVID-19 pandemic, reinforcing her belief that athletic performance and personal well-being are inseparable.

A former collegiate softball player and multi-sport athlete, Aubrey has coached athletes from the youth level through high school while serving in leadership roles in independent school athletics. As an Assistant Athletic Director, educator, dorm head, and varsity coach, she has developed programs that integrate strength and conditioning, speed development, injury prevention, leadership education, and mental performance into one comprehensive athlete experience.

Through Eddy Collective, Aubrey's mission is to redefine athlete development by creating environments where athletes learn to move well, think critically, lead confidently, and care for their bodies long after their competitive careers end. Her coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that movement is medicine, relationships matter, and growth happens when athletes are challenged, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their journey.

At the heart of Eddy Collective is the concept of the eddy—a place of controlled movement within chaos. Aubrey believes every athlete will encounter adversity, uncertainty, and change. Success is not about avoiding those moments, but learning to find rhythm within them. Through intentional coaching and education, she strives to help athletes build the resilience, confidence, and character needed to perform at their highest level in sport and in life.

Doctor of Physical Therapy | Former Collegiate Soccer Athlete | Performance & Return-to-Play Specialist

Danielle Landrum, PT, DPT

Coach Danielle Landrum brings a unique perspective to athlete development, blending the mindset of a collegiate athlete with the expertise of a Doctor of Physical Therapy. A former defender for the California State University, San Bernardino women's soccer program, Danielle competed at the NCAA Division II level before pursuing her passion for helping athletes move, recover, and perform at their highest potential. During her collegiate career, she appeared in 27 games while earning significant minutes and contributing to her team's success both on and off the field.

Today, Danielle works as a licensed physical therapist, specializing in movement quality, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and long-term athletic performance. Her philosophy centers on treating the whole athlete—not simply returning athletes to play, but equipping them with the tools to move better, build confidence, and stay healthy throughout their careers. After earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, she continues to combine evidence-based practice with a passion for coaching and education.

As part of the Eddy Collective, Danielle helps bridge the gap between performance training and healthcare. Her work empowers athletes to understand their bodies, develop resilient movement patterns, and build sustainable habits that support both performance and lifelong wellness. She believes that movement is one of the most powerful forms of medicine and that every athlete deserves the knowledge to take ownership of their health.
